I am a lawyer, so I thought that my previous experience would enable me to handle the purchase of an apartment in enforcement auction. I knew that purchasing from the enforcement officer may be a good price opportunity and that it was relatively safe, because most of the encumbrances established on the real property are cancelled. Never before did I have anything to do with court enforcement producers and I was not planning on dealing with them. When I planned to buy an apartment and started to search on the Internet, I realised that the prices of apartments put for auction by enforcement authorities were much lower than those offered by real estate brokers and those to be bought without intermediary.

Of course, I was afraid that the apartment would be in a poor state of repair, that it would need a major renovation or that it would be full of insects. However, the attractive prices encouraged me to visit several flats in my neighbourhood. It was not as bad as I expected. It didn’t take much time to find a place which I liked. Well, but…what now??

Paying the bid bond before the auction is the easiest part. I entrusted the law firm with the participation in the auction and with further actions, ant it was a good decision. The fee was not too high, I did not have to worry and I could always receive answers to my questions about the further course of the proceedings. They also took over contacts with the court. It was a good decision.
